GGH sweater is finished!

Finally, some knitting content! I finished seaming this sweater today and had to get a picture on my blog. I'm happy with it--it fits. The only changes to the pattern I made were a yarn substitution and going down a few needle sizes till I found something I liked. Otherwise I followed the pattern, except for a few typos. They had written "K3, P3" rib, when I could see clearly in the photograph that it was K2, P2 ribbing.

Details are:
Pattern: Rebecca Magazine no. 18, model 18
Yarn: Marks & Kattens Dream (feels like a microfiber but also has some angora)
Needles: size 5 US (pattern calls for 7-8 US)

This magazine is rather old but there are several designs in it I like. Here's a sampling:

I made this sleeveless sweater above using GGH Goa in pink.

Haven't made any of these but I think they are all cute.

Totes, and more totes

Gosh, it's been a while since I've posted anything. There has been knitting going on, but nothing finished yet to show. But here is another tote! This one was given away the same day I made it to a friend of my mother's for her birthday. I think she liked it. I like both of the Kaffe Fassett fabrics in this one.

Here are the larger totes -- they are just the right size for magazines:

This last one is an Amy Butler duffel bag I made using her Temple Flowers fabric:

Hopefully some knitting content next time. I have one sweater nearly finished and 2 more in various stages on the needles.
