Here's my horse again, this time with a muzzle and bridle. Forgive me if muzzle isn't the right word--I know next to nothing about horses, although I learned more about them by drawing this one. Such as, they have really neat eyes, and I find the whole nostril/mouth part fascinating. 
Even though I didn't do a background, I'm calling this one done for now and will move on to something else. That something is pastel, using a subject I'm familiar with, Lily Bart, the cat I did in colored pencil a while ago. Just started this afternoon so it's early yet, but I can say that pastels are really fun! This is my first one, and I had no idea how fun they are. Right now my small palette is a bit limiting, with lots of brights, so I'm having to fudge on the colors. 
The clouds were ridiculously pink.
